Nathan Schema has been elected the new president and CEO of the South Dakota-based Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, the nation’s largest non-profit provider of senior care and services.

Schema takes the helm as Good Sam marks 100 years in business. The organization today operates in 22 states and is part of the Sanford Health system.

“I am deeply committed to advocating for our seniors and supporting our health care heroes who care for them,” said Schema. “Being part of Sanford Health gives us tremendous opportunities to explore how we can shape the future of care for our nation’s seniors.”
