Good Samaritan Society to renovate St. Martin Monastery

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City population is continuing to grow, leaving a need for more housing for all communities. Because of this, The Good Samaritan Society is being renovated to add more senior services. The society acquired the former St. Martin Monastery in 2023 and thought it would be the perfect building for their additions.
The Rapid City campus has been open for about 10 years and currently serves nearly 1,000 seniors in their skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and home health programs.
