The American Healthcare Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) honored 110 Good Samaritan locations for their efforts to reach goals related to providing quality skilled nursing and assisted living care.
The Quality Initiative Recognition Program sets measurable quality targets for skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities and recognizes facilities that reach at least one of these goals. The goals include reducing hospitalizations, improving customer satisfaction, reducing the use of anti-psychotics and improving functional outcomes.
