Crocs Company’s donation keeps front line caregivers in Florida on their feet during pandemic

Daytona Beach, Fla. – Employees at the Good Samaritan – Daytona walk many, many steps during the course of a shift. Thanks to a donation of 200 pairs of shoes from the Crocs Company, those steps are more comfortable these days.

“I found out about this program almost by accident,” says Christina Kirby, activities director. “I was ordering a pair for myself when the representative on the phone asked which health care facility I worked for. She said they would love to send us a donation to show their support.” Kirby filled out an application and the shoes arrived the following week.

“We passed them out equally throughout the staff,” Kirby says. “They were so appreciative!”

The donation is part of the Crocs Company’s commitment to donate 10,000 pairs of free shoes every day to health care workers on the front lines of COVID-19.

Thank you, Crocs, for supporting the health care workers of the Good Samaritan!
